Diet in 30 years

20 year result s ago we were able to defuse the bomb of overpopulation with a green revolution.

Fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and new farming techniques made it possible that we could harvest enough food for that population is growing, particularly in Asia.

But the demand continues and is faster than ever before in history.

Now we must make possible a new revolution based on biotechnology and genetics. And see the in less than two decades.

Although the CNN news claims that "Droughts, floods and animal cloning will radically change food as known in 2050, the food will be fast, but in smaller portions and healthy"

This is because the world will grow both in population (in 2050 130 million) and income. While the U.S. economy will grow 3% annually, in Mexico it will at least 4%. That will change the type of food, for example more meat, vegetables and fruits, and processed foods.

There will be an increase in temperature could mean a drop in agricultural production up to 35%. Corn and sugarcane are the most resent these effects. The use of irrigation and chemical fertilizers are added to the salt content of the soil so it will be less fertile.

The food will be Fast food, but will be in smaller portions and healthier, less large presentations because household size continues to shrink, and less special food for children as there will be 11% fewer infants in the average household. Increase foods that are cooked or heated almost to serve.

So I think that my idea about this topic wasn't so far from reality, where we are all going to ask for more food, and healthier food, this will be a kind of fast food, but like aI said they could makes it similar like astronaut's food almost ready to go.
